Woman Made Gallery is turning 20! In our 20 years we have shown the work of over 7,000 women artists. Unfortunately, there are still so many people in Chicago who have never heard of us. =(
We want to use this milestone to launch a year long innovative marketing campaign that celebrates the amazing artists that make up our vibrant community while spreading the word that we exist, we are unique and everyone in Chicago should come visit us because the work we do is important.
The campaign will focus on 20 diverse women from our community. We will photograph them and video document their experiences and thoughts on Woman Made and its importance. The photos will be blown up to posters and strategically placed all over the city (including CTA ads). Each poster will have a QR code which, when scanned, will bring you to that woman's video + story and then ultimately to the Woman Made website.
Additionally, we hope to be able to purchase a new sign that includes our new brand and 20th anniversary tagline.
Your support will enable us to realize our goal of an innovative and dynamic marketing campaign to honor the artists in our vibrant community as well as help spread the word about the importance and need for supporting equality in the arts community.
