World's first platform to connect artistic projects and business ventures with charitable giving. Learn More

So you're ready to create a project?

HelpersUnite projects raise money to support a creative, charitable or entrepreneurial initiative. For a set time limit of up to 120 days, you can promote your project on our site and utilize our tools so that you can invite Helpers to support your campaign. It's hard work but you will keep all of the money you raise even if you fall short of your goal.

With each project you launch, you'll select a charity that will also benefit from your funding. Think carefully and center your choice on a cause close to your heart.

It's always free to post a project. Your artistic projects, creative concepts and products are entirely yours and HelpersUnite does not assume ownership by posting with us. See our Project FAQ for more.

Here's How Our Projects Work

What are the fees for posting a project?

It's free to post a project. For any received contributions, the fees total 9% which include all credit card processing fees, charity disbursement fees and our administrative fee. If you're operating outside of the U.S., a one-time wire fee also applies for campaigns that collect funds via credit card. Currency exchange fees may also apply.

Do I need to select a charity to benefit from my project?

All creative and entrepreneurial projects are required to select a charity that will also benefit from the fundraising. It's an important way for creative thinkers to give back to the community. If you're raising money for a charitable cause, you don't need to select an additional charity.

Our simple process to get your project live

When you set up your project through HelpersUnite, our team will work closely with you to shape your message and provide tips for interacting with your Helpers throughout your campaign.

  1. Concept approval. Begin by sending us your project idea for approval. We welcome fundraiser projects of all types, whether they are creative, entrepreneurial, charitable or related to life events. Once approved, you'll be invited to create a project page.
  2. Final approval. You'll create a pitch message, including video, photos and a description of your project. We'll help make sure all the elements are in place.
  3. Your live campaign. Once your project is live, you'll use social media, personal connections and a network of Helpers to gain support for your project.
What happens if we don't reach the goal amount for our project?

We believe that every penny counts when it comes to helping others, so Creators and charities receive all contributions regardless of whether the funding goal was met. In your project pitch, be sure to mention how partial funding would be used.

What happens if we raise more than our funding goal?

That's more like it! Again, project Creators and charities receive all contributed funding, even if you raise more than you expected.

For how long can projects be listed?

Projects can be listed for up to 120 days.

How do Creators track contributions?

Creators can track all Helper contributions and prizes via the My Account section.

What sorts of prizes can Creators offer Helpers?

You can offer t-shirts, buttons, free music, jewelry, thank you notes, wearable items, publications or anything of some value or meaning. Just make it interesting. We recommend setting up different prize offers for each contribution level so there's something for everyone.
